The artist, Linda Steele, is Ohio born, and studied art in Pittsburgh, PA. In 1979 she first exhibited her dolls. Beginning with antique reproduction dolls, Linda Steele quickly shifted gear to her own original sculpts. She has won numerous Public Choice Dolls of the Year and Dolls of Excellence awards. She has designed dolls for several major doll manufacturers as well, but Serina Jade is from her own studio and is an artist's original. This artist has retired from making dolls at this time.
