This unique shell cloth technique representation of Russian historical Romanov family is the Artist's Proof for an extremely limited edition of only 6 sets, and is by English doll maker Linda Murray for Linda Murray Cloth Dolls. The set includes sisters Princess Olga, Tatiana, Marie and Anastasia, and also includes the beautiful Russian Swan Sofa and cushions. The smallest doll, Anastasia, is approximately 19 inches tall, and the other three sisters, Olga, Tatiana and Marie, are approximately 25-26" tall in a standing position. The sofa is approximately 40" in length, 14-15" deep, and about 21" tall. The wigs are hand sewn mohair and the bodies have wire armature for great posability. The dolls are cloth body and head and eyes are hand painted and glazed with real eyelashes. True to the original outfits in the finest detail as are the individually sculpted heads which bear a strong likeness to the family.

The Romanov Sisters was lovingly and accurately sculpted from an original photograph found in Anastasia's Diary, of four of the most thought provoking people of the 20th century. The tragedy surrounding these beautiful girls has fascinated historians worldwide.

Due to the unique creation process, all of Linda Murray's dolls are technically and artistically one of a kind. Only one mold is ever made from the original sculpture and that mold can only produce one head per week. Small editions of her work refer to the outfits on the dolls, as the dolls themselves are technically each a OOAK.
