Shirley Peck

Shirley Hunter Peck was born in the 1940's, and began making dolls professionally in 1984. From early childhood, Shirley was fascinated with fabrics and creating paper dolls. She was a young seamstress, learning to sew while still a child of 8 years of age. Building on this early exposure to sewing, and the experience from youth of making clothing on a doll scale, Shirley's doll making career launched with a specialization in art quality dolls made entirely of wool felt.
