Store Policy

We take special orders, ship promptly and offer convenient layaway options.

BEST LAYAWAYS...

Layaways may be used for most purchases of $100 or more. Stock items require a deposit of 25% of the purchase price of the item. Special Orders require a 50% downpayment. Monthly payments on each layaway are due on or before the tenth of each month until the item is paid in full. All layaways must be completed within 12 months of initial downpayment. Customer is expected to make monthly payments in a timely manner. Alternatively, Dear Little Dollies Ltd. can arrange, with customer approval and authorization, to take automatic monthly credit card payments on or about the tenth of each month until layaway is paid in full. Dear Little Dollies will send customer a receipt for every automatic layaway payment charged to their account at the time the payment is charged.

To calculate the amount due for monthly payments, subtract the initial downpayment you have made from the total purchase price of your layaway item(s), and divide by the number of months you wish to extend your layaway, up to twelve months, making monthly payments of at least $50.00 per month. AT any time, customer may accelerate payments.

Until payment in full has been received by Dear Little Dollies Ltd., the items on layaway are the property of and will remain in the possession of Dear Little Dollies. Once full payment for layaway has been received by Dear Little Dollies, the item(s) are the property of the customer. Customer will either pick item(s) up at Dear Little Dollies store or Dear Little Dollies will ship the fully paid for item(s) to customer, according to agreed upon shipping arrangements.

Layaways are not generally available for SALE items or discounted items. Layaways can not be cancelled by customer without customer incurring cancellation fee of at least 25% of purchase price. Exchange of an item placed on layaway, or issuance of a DLD store credit for an item taken off layaway, is in the sole discretion of Dear Little Dollies. Default of special orders will result in full forfeiture.

SHIPPING...

Typically, we ship USPS Priority (2-3 days) or UPS ground (2-7 days). We offer a low flat rate for most items shipped within the continental United States. Insurance is a separate charge. If customer opts out of insurance coverage for items shipped, customer assumes liability for any loss or damage to item incurred in transit to them. We inspect all items for quality assurance before shipping, and we pack carefully for safety in transit. Please contact us with any special shipping request. We will do our best to accommodate you.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS...

Inspect all merchandise upon receipt and notify us immediately of shipping damage. DO NOT RETURN WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION. Instead, report damaged shipments to Dear Little Dollies and to carrier, who will usually arrange to inspect the package at your location. Keep all packaging intact as received. If you return a damaged package without authorization, the insurance claim may not be honored, in which case we will not be responsible.

DELINQUENCY/ DEFAULT CHARGES...

  • One month past due accounts are "DELINQUENT" and must be corrected promptly to avoid a ten (10) dollar late charge at Dear Little Dollies' discretion.
  • Two month past due accounts are in "DEFAULT" and "FORFEIT" may be declared at discretion of Dear Little Dollies. Merchandise will be returned to stock and appropriate penalties/ fees charged. Absolutely No Refunds will be given. Store credit may be awarded after deduction of penalties/ fees as applicable. Minimum restocking charge is 25% of the purchase price.

RETURNED CHECKS...

A $25 charge, or the actual bank fee for a returned check if that is more than $25, will be applied for returned checks.

RETURNS...

All items are considered final sale. No returns will be accepted without Dear Little Dollies’ approval and authorization. Do not ship any item back to Dear Little Dollies without obtaining prior approval and authorization from Dear Little Dollies. Returned items must be received within 14 days of purchase and in original condition, and this pertains also to the item's box or container as well as any papers and certificates which accompany the item. A DLD store credit will be issued only for DLD approved and authorized returns. Dear Little Dollies is under no obligation to issue a cash, check or credit card refund.

The sale of any item represented as “AS IS” is final and will not be accepted for return for any prior disclosed defect.

Our receipt of partial or complete payment is your acknowledgment that you have read and understood the terms set forth in the above statement of our policies, and that you agree to abide by them.

If we decide to change our store policy, we will post those changes on this page, and/or update the Privacy Policy modification date below.

This policy last modified on 07.01.14 and supersedes all previous Dear Little Dollies policies.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
