Karen Scott

Karen Scott, who began sculpting porcelain dolls in 1989, attributes her talent for sculpting to her parents. Her mom was the first to introduce her creative daughter to doll sculpting and to encourage her with a gift of clay and sculpting materials for the young Karen to try her hands at. Her dad was already an accomplished portrait artist, and Karen had learned much of that art form before her venture into sculpting. Her porcelain dolls are widely collected now.
