The Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores, of which Dear Little Dollies is a proud member, will be presenting the 30th Annual Bellmore Family Street Festival on Thursday 9/15 from 6pm to 10pm , Friday 9/16 from 6pm to 10 pm, Saturday 9/17 from 11am to 11pm and Sunday 9/18 from 11am to 11pm. The Festival is held on our street, Bedford Avenue, every year and is always something we look forward to. Our shop will be closed to the public on Saturday and Sunday but we will have a stand on the street where some tremendous bargains will be on offer! Our Festival is one of the larget on Long Island and is recognized as THE biggest “family friendly” street festival in the county, where you will never have to worry about exposing youngsters to inappropriate content, situations and behavior. Our Chamber is serious about providing a real family venue but this doesn’t mean we don’t have fun! By all means have a cold beer at one of Bellmore Village’s sidewalk cafes, just remember there is no alcohol consumed on the street. Plan on making it a family outing. At the South end of Bedford Avenue, in the commuter parking lot, you will find carnival rides and attractions. From south to north, Bedford Avenue and side streets will be lined with stands of Village merchants, outdoor eateries, crafts vendors, military exhibits, clubs and societies with interests from ferrets to creative writing. There will be something for everyone, including our beautiful dolls. Come on out for a fun day in the sun!
