This amazing one of a kind porcelain art doll is the legendary gentle ice princess. She has snow white soft mohair hair adorned with a crown of "ice" flowers,which she also holds in her hands. Her dress is striped in iridescent "Ice", and her earrings are "icicles" from which hearts dangle. She is jointed at the neck, has dreamy painted ice blue eyes, and her mouth s beautifully open with lovely white upper teeth showing. Her arms and legs are gracefully sculpted, and her nails are naturally painted. There is a great deal of exquisite detail which make this porcelain art doll lifelike. Her legs are porcelain to the knee, above which she is stuffed fabric. Her bodice is stuffed fabric and heavily weighted up to the breast, where porcelain resumes. Her arms are fully porcelain, with permanently sculpted bent elbows, but at the shoulder there is a stuffed fabric insert for some movement.

Ice Princess comes sitting on a wood base upon which grows a fantasy ice garden, from which Ice Princess has plucked the flowers she holds and wears.

Two stained glass wings were fashioned for this doll, which are removable . . . One wing has been damaged. Her price has been profoundly reduced for this reason alone. This doll is in every other way exquisite and a pristine, very high quality work of doll art.
