Virpe is from the Porcelain Kinder 1996 Collection of Annette Himstedt, and represents a small, delicate blue-grey eyed 4 year old girl from Finland. She is approximately 20 inches, with medium dark blonde mohair hair, plaited with an included silk ribbon into pigtails of varying length on both sides, and accentuated by two linked pigtails in the back of her head. Her pastel pink dress is washed taffeta silk with a pale pink bolero of hand-dyed structural silk. The underskirt and pants are of white washed taffeta silk. The ensemble is decorated with old rose silk frill and accentuated with narrow silk ribbon as border. The crinkly skirt is finished with a small frill and accentuated by a pink silk ribbon. Virpi was produced in 1996 in a limited edition of 99.
