This doll is entirely handmade by the husband and wife team of artists, using treated cloth. The cloth technique leaves seams and some variations due to the texture of the cloth, which is most appealing and natural looking. The head, breastplate and limbs are all of hand-formed ShellCloth, which is extremely durable hard-formed cloth. The technique entails applying over 15 coats to the head and limbs to achieve the desired qualities and translucent appearance of natural skin tones.
